Forestry Park - Information

Forestry Park is Bottineau’s newest park. This park sits on 45 acres on the west edge of Bottineau. This park originally was the home of the State Tree Nursery; this property is still owned today by the ND Forest Service. In 1999 the Bottineau Park Board entered in an agreement with the ND Forest Service to cooperatively maintain this beautiful wooded area into a City park. This park is full of open space along with plenty of wooded area for relaxation, adventure and recreation. Currently the park has small picnic shelters, playground, and soccer field, hiking trails, 9-hole disc gulf course and plenty of summer shade for everyone. The park is located 2 blocks north of Hwy. #5 on Forestry drive. Please use the navigation bar up above to view the other parks or the Forestry Park Image Gallery.
